HOW DO YOU GET TO CORNWALL?

TRAIN There is a London Paddington to Truro line which runs hourly, and even a sleeper train. The journey takes around 4 hours and 52 minutes, with 27 trains per day. There are also trains from Edinburgh (via Bristol)! I’d recommend booking through trainline. You can then change at Truro for branch line stations with the closest one to the venue being Penryn.

BUS I’ll level with you, I’ve done it, you can go from London Victoria Coach station to Falmouth on the National Express and it’s cheap but it does take 9 hours, so it’s not the most cheerful.

CAR I’m not going to explain to you the route as you’ve got maps on your phone for that, but from London it’s +/- five hours, Bristol it’s three hours-ish and whichever way you go you should eventually get to the A30 which is very scenic!

HOW DO YOU GET AROUND CORNWALL?

THERE AREN’T ANY UBERS

The easiest way around Cornwall is definitely by car. There is lots to explore and it’s across and along many country lanes and A roads. But it’s not the only way. There are local trains and buses which are regular, especially around the Falmouth area. You can get buses from Falmouth to Penryn and Truro and also to Redruth and back again! There are also taxis which is probably a good idea if you’re going to drive to the venue and then leave your car there, which is what we would recommend if you’re planning on having a drink or two! Please find below some local cab companies contact details. We would strongly advise pre-booking your cab home from the venue for 11pm latest! You’ll be able to come along to the venue the next morning to collect your car.
